    What Is the Subscriber Engagement Report

    The Subscriber Engagement Report provides detail on which subscribers are most actively engaged with your email program. This report includes the number of emails that you have sent each subscriber over a specified period of time, as well as the number of emails the subscriber has opened or clicked. 

    You can specify the percentage of subscribers to include in the report based on the highest click-to-sent ratio. You can also limit the report to include only subscribers to whom you have sent a minimum number of emails.

    The Subscriber Engagement Report contains the following information:

    Column Description
    Email Address The email address of the subscriber.
    Delivered The number of emails you sent to the subscriber over the time period of the report.
    Clicked On The number of the Delivered emails in which the subscriber clicked a link, regardless of whether the click occurred over the time period of the report.
    Clicked to Delivered Ratio The percentage of Delivered emails that were Clicked On.
    Opened The number of the Delivered emails that the subscriber opened, regardless of whether the open occurred over the time period of the report.
    Opened to Delivered Ratio The percentage of Delivered emails that were Opened.

    Why Run the Subscriber Engagement Report 

    Run the Subscriber Engagement Report to identify your most engaged subscribers. You might want to target these subscribers for special offers.

    How to Run the Subscriber Engagement Report

    Use the following steps to run the report:

    1. Click the Tracking tab in the navigation bar.
    2. Click my reports.
    3. Click Subscriber Reports.
    4. Click Subscribers Engagement.
    5. Complete the information in the Report Parameters section:
      Start Date The first date for which information is included in the report.
      End Date The last date for which information is included in the report.
      Date Range

      This field is available only if you are using a report activity. Valid values include:

      • Custom Date Range Provides fields to specify a static date range. These are the same fields that appear if you are not using a report activity to run the report.
        • Start Date The earliest date for which to include information in the report.
        • End Date The latest date for which to include information in the report.
      • Previous Time Period Provides a field to select the time period over which to run the report. The period is relative to when the report runs.
      Exclude Single Sends Determines whether the report includes information for single sends-a special kind of send that can be initiated only by an API call.
      List

      The list of subscribers to be analyzed.

      Note: This report includes all of the statistics for the subscribers on the list, regardless of whether the information resulted from a send to this list. If a subscriber is on two lists, the tracking for both lists appears on this report, even though you specify only one list in this field.
      Percentage of Subscribers to Display The percentage of subscribers to include on the report, based on click-to-sent ratio. Click-to-sent ratio is the number of subscribers who click in your emails compared to the number of subscribers who receive your emails. If you enter 5% in this field, the subscribers who clicked the most will be included in the 5%. 
      Received Threshold This field is treated as greater than the value entered. For example, if you want a report for subscribers who have received 20 emails and greater, you must enter 19.
      Time Zone The time zone in which you wish the results of the report to appear
      Date Format The format in which dates appear in the report
    6. Complete the information in the Report Results Delivery section. If you choose to send as an email, separate multiple email addresses with a semi-colon, but note the field has a 100 character limit. 
    7. Complete the information in the Result File Format section.
    8. Complete the information in the Run the Report section.
    9. Click Submit.
