Known Issues

Features Not Supported

The following features are currently not supported in landing pages. If a feature is not supported, you cannot include it in a landing page directly or include a content area in a landing page that includes the unsupported feature.

• You cannot include a survey in a landing page using the application survey tool.
• If a subscriber uses the Forward to a Friend link in an email that contains a link to a personalized landing page, the friend will receive the same link. Currently, you cannot cause the friend's link to go to a different or default page. For this reason, you might not want to include Forward to a Friend links and links to personalized landing pages in the same emails.
• You cannot verify that the person accessing the landing page is the intended subscriber. For example, the subscriber could forward your email and the recipient could access the landing page using the link in the email. For this reason, you should not include sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, on a landing page without first making the subscriber log in.
• You cannot use the email content syndication tool. HTML provides other mechanisms for syndicating content.

System Authenticated Redirection

Two sessions cannot co-exist, so when you log in to the application using this tool, any existing sessions are abandoned. So, if you log in to the ExactTarget application, publish a landing page that uses this security option, and visit the landing page, you will be logged out of your original ExactTarget instance.
