    Issue - Security Warning when Using SSL

    If you use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with your microsites, you may discover the following message box appearing on your landing page:

    security_information.png

    This message box can be caused by one or both of the following:

    • Image references not pointing to an SSL URL
    • Links not pointing to an SSL URL

    Workaround

    For Images

    Instead of referencing images using the domain in your portfolio base URL, use the generic images domain image.exacttarget.com.

    For example, if the path to the graphic using your portfolio base URL is:

    http://image.exct.net/lib/xxxxxxxxxx/m/1/graphic.jpg

    then use the generic images domain instead:

    https://image.exacttarget.com/lib/xx.../1/graphic.jpg

    Notice that only the "https" and "exacttarget.com" parts of the URL are different. The rest of the path remains the same.

    For Links

    Insert the following code at the bottom of your landing page:

    <!--

    </body>

    -->
