Perform a Simple A-B Test on the Effectiveness of Your Content Using Live Image

    Follow these steps to test the effectiveness of your content using Live Image

    1. Create your Live Image with two different images leading to the same URL.
    2. Set Delivery to Sequential or Random.
      NOTE: If you choose a Random delivery, the application automatically sets Assignment to Static and allows only a manual switch from image A to image B.
    3. Log in periodically to your ExactTarget account and check the Impressions and Clicks measures under Images A and B.
    4. When you're satisfied that one image is performing better than another, set the dropdown menu under the Switch from A to B Based On heading to Manual.
    5. If the current image is the better performer, leave it as is. If the other image is performing better, click the Manually Switch Now link next to the image to set all future sends to that image. If you have the Live Image set to Dynamic, all future views on both send and not-yet-sent emails will see the chosen image. If you have the Live Image assignment set to Static, all future sends will receive this image, but previously sent emails will retain their original image.
