Release 141.3From $1Table of contents
Add Seed List to Send DefinitionIf you have Inbox Tools in your account, you now have the ability to add a seed list to a send definition as part of your user-initiated sends. Sending to seed lists allows you to run the Inbox Detective feature on your email sends. You also have the ability to select the Send to Deliverability Seed List checkbox during the user-initiated send process. You can send to the seed list with every user-initiated send or define how often the seed list sends (for example, every 5th send).
See How to Create a User-Initiated Email Interaction and How to Send a User-Initiated Email Interaction. APIThe 141.3 release introduces enhanced robustness and stability to the asynchronous API. For a full list of API changes, please review the API release changes. Cancel Sends In-ProgressYou can now cancel a send that's in the process of sending. If you realize a send shouldn't be going out, but the send already started, you can cancel the send and avoid sending to the entire list. The application shows you how many subscribers were sent to versus subscribers not sent to. A future release will include the ability to export the subscribers sent to and not sent to so you can follow-up with an apology email or any communication you feel is necessary. See How to Cancel a Scheduled or In-Progress Send for step-by-step instructions.
Data Extension Name Appears in TrackingIf you send to data extensions, you now see the name of the data extension on the tracking page.
Facebook LikeFacebook Like is an image you insert into your email that allows your subscribers to "like" your content and share your message with their Facebook friends. Note: You can't use a Facebook Like button in an HTML Paste email. The ability to add Facebook Like in HTML is coming in a future release. You have the ability to configure what content your subscribers share. You can have the Like button share the content you're sending in the email or you can provide an alternative URL that the Like button shares. For example, if you're sending a monthly newsletter and you included a blurb in the sidebar about a giveaway contest you're running, you might want to insert a Facebook Like button. However, you won't want the Like button to link to the email, you'll want to configure the Like button to like the giveaway page on your website. When a subscriber clicks on the Like button, the content you configure posts to the subscriber's Facebook wall and appears in their friends' News Feed. Insert a Facebook Like button into your email:

Improved Color Picker141.3 introduces an improved color picker in the email, template, and landing page editor. When you select the drop-down color menu, you're now presented with all the color options without having to click Advanced Color Options. You can also define a hexidemical color code from this view and click OK.
New Batch Upload for PortfolioThe batch upload process has improved uploading images to your Portfolio. The process has been simplified with fewer steps, and Mac users will no longer receive error messages when uploading zip files. The application now ignores the ghost files that Macs create when uploading zip files.
For a scenario of the new process, see the Portfolio Scenario. See How to Upload a Batch of Files for step-by-step instructions. Server-Side JavaScriptThe 141.3 release allows you to retrieve information on the parent folder of a folder (if one exists) and to update filter definitions associated with email send definitions. SMS From AddressesYou can now send SMS messages to your subscribers using customized From addresses. This feature is not available for United States customers, and you must contact your ExactTarget representative in order to enable this feature on your account. View Pending & Past SendsTwo new buttons exist in the email grid: Pending Sends and Past Sends.
The Pending Sends feature displays a list of the scheduled and in-progress send jobs. If you click on the Pending Sends button without selecting an email, you receive a list of all pending and in-progress sends for your account. However, you can select a specific email and click the Pending Sends button to view the scheduled and in-progress sends for that email. It's from the Pending Sends window that you can cancel scheduled and in-progress sends. If you cancel an in-progress send, the application shows you the number of subscribers sent to versus the number of subscribers not sent to. If you would like to export that data, contact Global Support. The Past Sends feature displays a list of the previous sends for the email you selected. In order to enable to the Past Sends button, select an email. You can then click Past Sends and view the send history for that job. Audience Builder EnhancementsRelease 141.3 introduces key enhancements for Audience Builder. The new Summary, Filter, Segment and Publish tabs introduce a new look and feel that make creating and publishing audiences more intuitive and more meaningful.
Additionally, there are new publishing features, such as email notifications, splitting your publish definition by segments, and creating new data extension folders as you publish. See the Audience Builder User Guide at 3sixty for learn more.
